Hello from Switzerland.
Jess and I met my parents in Zurich this morning and are now in Luzern. For the last five days, Jess and I had been in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria. I had actually updated from Salzburg but for some reason, it never took… pictures and all. Oh well. Austria was astounding. Jess and I had such a wonderful time, it is an amazingly beautiful country, especially during thunderstorms in Salzburg.
Yesterday, on the sole day of sunshine this week, Jess and I drove down to Southern Oregon to hike up Table Rock. Once we were on top and had hiked to the western edge of the rock, we had lunch sitting 800 feet above Southern Oregon. After that we walked along the southern edge. All in all, kind of a hard hike, but very rewarding.
If you haven’t read the post below, you wouldn’t know that Jess and I are in Newfoundland, Canada. Currently, we’re in a little cottage in Trinity. Look it up.
Halfway through Spring Break and I am already exhausted, not from lack of sleep, but because I’ve been active. Went to Port Townsend on Friday, it was a great old town, with many of its original buildings intact. Plus, it was two seconds from the beach and thirty minutes from the top of a mountain. [...]
